Early Game Improvements

Enemies Centipede movement speed ramp-up time increased from 0.8s to 1.5s. Enemy Spawn On level 1, Centipedes no longer spawn from eggs, only via prespawn. On levels 1 and 2, Shield Bots no longer spawn in dead ends.

Ultimate Ability Tutorial

  • If the player is being cornered by enemies, the game now turns on temporary invulnerability and prompts the player to use the Ultimate Ability.

  • The tutorial prompt only happens once per mission. After the tutorial is completed, it will not be shown again.

Shotgun Tutorial

  • If the player is being attacked by melee enemies and doesn't switch to Shotgun, the game now turns on temporary invulnerability and prompts the player to switch to Shotgun.

  • The tutorial prompt only happens once per mission. After the tutorial is completed, it will not be shown again.

Other Changes

  • The color of rim lightning on the player model in dark areas now matches the overall color of the environment lighting.

  • Spawn doors now blink and play a sound effect when spawning enemies.

  • New achievement: Ultikill: "Kill 100 enemies while your Ultimate Ability is active."

Bug Fixes

  • The Thermal Tyrant achievement is now being tracked correctly.
