Update #40- Draft Mode and Player Pictures

Update #40 is a big one. There is a new way to play, Draft Mode! Also player profile pictures are now a possibility. There are no pictures included in the game, but there are facepacks that are linked in the Discord for people who want photos for their players.

Draft Mode

Draft Mode is a new way to start a dynasty built around the draft instead of recruiting. From the launcher, you choose your player pool (randomly generated or a custom CSV), draft type (Full Fantasy Draft or Shuffle Draft), save type (college dynasty or single season), and draft order (prestige, random, or your own slot). Both snake and standard formats are supported, and AI teams draft with hidden team identities. Some prioritize elite pitching, while others focus on power bats, defense, or roster balance, making every draft feel different before the season even begins. If you have ever played Super Mega Baseball 4, the shuffle draft is similar to that.

The draft features a live draft board, searchable player tables, draft recommendations, and auto draft options to speed through AI selections. In Dynasty saves, the draft fills your roster and the game continues with recruiting, transfers, player development, and year-to-year progression. In One Season saves, your drafted roster becomes your team for the entire year with no recruiting cycle. A 30-team professional-style league includes a 162-game schedule, division races, and a 12-team postseason tournament is also included for a single season draft mode. This is a complete custom mode though, so you will need a 30 team universe and player pool to enjoy. Those are both already in the Discord.

Player Photos

Player photos are now in the game. Well, the option to have them. There are no player photos included in the game, but there are facepacks already in the discord. As I was working on the Shuffle Draft UI, I knew it would look better with pictures. So after setting up the system, they will show up on the player profile page and on the Shuffle Draft Screen. They might show up in a few more places as time goes on, but those spots for sure.

I've made a few other minor improvements lately too. - Canada is an option to select on the Map for recruiting. I did not create a map, but you can select Canada to see all players from the provinces, or you can select on individual provinces. - The game will now remember what columns you choose to show or hide in Recruiting or Transfer Portal. - Sim Recap screen now shows how well you did in your conference or region during the sim as well.
