College Baseball: Dynasty Builder changes
Update #34 definitely changes how the game plays. Instead of just kind of randomly adding points to school development, you now can build the school the way you want to.
Update Notes: School Attributes & Scheduling
School Attributes
Facilities, Stadium, Marketing, and Fan Base now have gameplay effects across both College and High School modes.
Facilities
Player Development Higher facilities improve the chance for extra player growth during the player development stage.
Stadium
College Recruiting & Transfer Portal Higher stadium levels lower recruiting thresholds, making commits easier to land across the board, not just for players who list stadium as a preference.
High School Tryouts Higher stadium levels add showcase prospects to the local tryout pool. The quality of these prospects scales with stadium level. They are shown in tryouts and Coach & Stadium Showcase results.
Marketing
Recruiting & Transfer Portal Marketing increases your weekly recruiting point budget.
High School Tryouts Marketing adds extra players to the tryout pool. This stacks with coach bonuses and is separate from stadium showcase prospects.
Fan Base
College Transfer Portal Higher fan base can prevent some unhappy players from entering the transfer portal when they are near the transfer threshold. Players retained this way appear in the new Fan Base Retained tab after end-of-year transfers.
High School Season End Fan base adds a multiplier to season prestige gains. Stronger programs with stronger support gain more prestige over time.
Scheduling: Smarter OOC Auto-Fill (College & High School)
The OOC schedule screen now includes a difficulty dropdown beside Auto Fill Remaining. Auto Schedule uses the same setting.
Difficulty Options
Cupcake Prioritizes weaker opponents.
Easy Leans toward lower-ranked teams.
Balanced Mixes opponents from multiple ranking tiers.
Tough Leans toward stronger opponents.
Elite Targets top-ranked opponents.
Added Tool Tip in Recruiting:
The tool tip shows players where their recruiting points came from. Now that we have Marketing, Coaching, Prestige, and Refunds all contributing points to a team's recruiting budget, it allows the user to understand how they have their budget.
