Missions are generated randomly based on the content already unlocked by the player (Scenarios, monsters and rankings). For example:

If the player has the "Crystal Cave" released up to difficulty B, missions may ask the player to defeat enemies from the "Crystal Cave" between difficulty D and B.

The rewards are very generous, and the challenges are very well thought out.
