Origin

Foreman – You may employ one additional worker, but buying drinks in the Tavern and the Den of Thieves costs 2 coins more. If you'd like to get work done early on, this one is for you!

Artisan Family – Repairs in your home settlement cost 20% less, though you earn about 10% less reputation with the Earl. You'd like to make heavy use of vehicles? This would be a good choice!

Of Noble Birth – Reputation losses with the Earl are reduced by 10%, but the chance of theft is increased by 10%. If you want good ties to the nobility, this is your option!

Livestock Keeper – Pack animals cost 20% less, but calling in a favor from a settler costs you 10% reputation. Good choice if you like animals more than people ;)

Path

Peddler – Every sale in your home settlement brings you 1 coin extra, but each sold good yields 30% less reputation. When money matters most!

Taskmaster – Production speed is increased by 10%, but the range of your convoys is reduced by 2 tiles. The producers choice!

Engineer – Wear and tear on transport units is reduced by 20%, yet their carrying capacity is also reduced by 20%. For merchants who want to make use of a big fleet of convoys!

Navigator – All convoys gain 2 extra tiles of range, but their wear and tear increases by 20%. Make the most of your vehicles, the added distance can come in very handy!

Philosophy

“Glück auf” – The chance of finding Crown Guilders in chests is raised by 30%, but likewise, the chance of your settlers falling ill is increased by 30%. If you're a lucky devil and want to get your hands on our game's most valuable currency.

“Mi casa es su casa” – Your hospitality grants you 2 additional settlers at the start, though each new arrival decreases settlement satisfaction by 1%. This chance for additional workforce is a solid foundation for good start!

“Comme ci comme ça” – Your easy-going manner reduces production speed by 10%, yet workers are content with 10% less pay. For the ones who take it slow and easy.

“Veni, vidi, vici” – Your harder stance grants agents 20% more deviousness, though their missions cost somewhat more. If you want to earn Crown Guilders in dangerous missions more efficiently, this is your choice!

And there you have it, all of our starting conditions! But note: They might be subject to change, we'll be testing with our community, balance some effects out and improve things! Have fun and all the best,

Erik from Magni Games
