Crashes

Balance Changes

  • Nerfed Lucky coins to +25% bonus-coin chance instead of 50%. Nerfed duration to 8s instead of 10s.

  • Nerfed Royal coins to +25% sell multiplier this simulation.

  • Buffed/fixed Water coins to spawn duplicates when a coin lands on the bonus line.

  • Nerfed grass coins duration slightly, from 6s to 5s.

  • Nerfed DDR5 upgrade to grant 5x bonus-lottery chance, instead of 10x. Increased cost by 100x.

  • Nerfed Aim Trainer to give 5% more accuracy per purchase, from 10%.

  • Buffed Ultra auto clickers to have a base damage of +25, and a base click-speed of +50%.

  • Increased cost of Neural Network by 10x.

  • Increased cost of Arena Allocator by 2x.

  • Reworked Lottery Ticket - now grants extra bonus-coin spawn chance on manual clicks from Coinbox level 3+. Increased cost to $150,000.

  • Reworked various ascension upgrades to be cheaper overall.

Bug Fixes/Tweaks

  • Fixed Lucky coin %chance bonus persisting between simulations.

  • Fixed bonus coin spawns triggering more often than intended.

  • Fixed Shackle/Dense coin sprites being swapped.

  • Fixed description of Advanced auto-clickers to reflect their actual +10 base damage bonus, instead of +5.

  • Fixed various upgrade description highlights/wording.

  • Fixed display of coin slots 4/5 on the main screen.

  • Fixed settings not persisting when re-launching the game.

Notes

In general, this release focuses on stability and tempering some of the largest sources of progression-breaks. Specifically, bonus-coin/lottery mechanics were too lenient and allowed for far more coin spawns than originally intended. Effects from Lucky Coin, DDR5, and Lottery Ticket were targeted especially hard for this reason. Royal coin was also given a substantial nerf; +50% flat simulation multiplier was simply too strong, given that it could be stacked with other multiplicative effects.

On the other side, a large buff was given to Ultra auto-clickers - while their effect was strong late-game, their benefit from the start of a new ascension was lackluster. They should feel much more impactful as an ascension upgrade choice now. Water coins were also under-performing - they've been given a buff that allows duplicates to spawn when collected by the bonus line, which feels more intuitive and rewarding.
