Welcome to Nivalis

Hi everyone,

If this is your first journey into the strangely inviting cyberpunk city of Nivalis, we envy you. We've been working on this city for over 7 years now. The cyberpunk voxel art style and its unique residents came to life for the first time with Cloudpunk and was later expanded in City of Ghosts, our full sequel-sized DLC. We're proud little bees as Cloudpunk is featured today on Steam.

But we've not stopped working on the city since Cloudpunk launched 4 years (and the DLC a year later). In the upcoming game "Nivalis" you will be able to dive in much deeper, as your job will be managing a restaurant. Or maybe not just one, but a whole bunch of them. Ever since we came up with the visual style that made Cloudpunk what it is we thought

"What would life be in that city?"

And we've always been a fan of presenting the game from the perspective of a "normal" citizen working a "regular" job, not a hero or a superhacker or anyone who has to shoot through hundreds of enemies to reach a goal. No, we find that in such a city even the most regular jobs can be exciting and we wanted to explore all angles. The same applies to Nivalis.

You’ll have to manage restaurants and nightclubs, go fishing, explore the city with your own boat and connect with the residents to forge friendships (and rivalries) to unfold all of their strange stories.
