fixedIts about a week since the game went live on Steam, and boy what a week its been! Not counting that little hiccup with the Steam achievements (which was caught and fixed so quickly only because you guys were so helpful and patient with me!), this launch week has gone smoothly. The only basis of comparison I have for 'success' is the last time I tried a Steam release; looking at the stats, that game got in half a year (in views, clicks, and purchases) what Clash got in one week. So there's definitely been improvement. xD

In all seriousness, coming back to Steam was a nervewracking decision. If I falied again, it would suck. But because of the support of you - the player! - it has been a success.

So a hundred and a thousand times: thank you!!!

So, what next? Well...I still need to go back and get all the achievements, since I deleted them all whenever I tested them. Speaking of achievements, here's some fun stats based on the first week of them:

  • You lot are a friendly bunch, seeing as how that path was the most common

  • You lot also chose to take the path of the 'good cop' more than the path of the 'bad cop'

  • Its about equal how you all dealt with Jasper; punchin' or flirtin', it was all good

  • 40% wanted Clash to spend the night with them ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • 20% got Julian to let Clash stick around for his interrogation

  • Only 10% of you had to step in and help Clash interrogate the waiter

  • And there's a ten-percent difference between people who started the game and people who actually met Clash, not sure what's going on there but okay

I also will be keeping an eye on discussions, reviews, and/or curator posts to see what people think of Clash (so if you've enjoyed your time with the game, please consider leaving a review!). And getting my rear end into gear so that I can get Clash: Blue Mirage's demo ready for Steam. Yes, the sequel is already coming. I don't know when exactly, but it is coming.

Again, thank you to everyone who has made Clash a success on Steam! I hope you continue to enjoy the game!
