changedI finally got the subtitle character into the game! That's pretty big! I also wrote out a whole investigation/clue-seeking sequence that plays out like one of my very first games I ever made (if you know about Smart Technology , then wow you've been hanging with me a while). And, most importantly, the several-chapter-spanning flashback has ended; I got the story caught up with itself. Not sure if I want to write a story that starts in media res ever again, it was weird. This was about three Saturdays' worth of work.
addedAnyway, I hate to be ~that person~ who keeps putting off their devwork but I really need to focus on my college/certification/day job right now. Once I only have to focus on certification/day job, I will add devwork back in.

I mentioned in the last monthly hype update that I was going to be busy with IRL things to the point of switching to weekend-only work. I did not realize HOW busy I was going to get. I have had to cut out a lot of extracurricular activities just to keep up. And it STILL feels like a struggle some days.

But the good news is, this will soon ease up! My last college class ends mid to late October. That is what is eating away at most of my time right now. Once that is done...well, frankly, I'll still be busy, but its a level of busy that I can handle.

So now we know that I'm not doing any more devwork until later this month. The question on your minds I'm sure is "So DID you get anything done?" Either that or "I wonder what I should eat for breakfast?" But I can't answer that one.

Have a great sp00ky month, see you in grateful month!

(And wow, I used a cover image that WASN'T Clash looking over his shoulder at Sal. What treachery is this???)
