City Transport Simulator® changes
On October 7 the time has come!
Three major highlights arrive on the very same day: The brand-new MAN New Lion’s City Bus DLC makes its debut, all owners of the Depot + South Route DLC receive a free large-scale bus map expansion, and City Transport Simulator: Bus + Tram finally launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A perfect trio for everyone who has been waiting to take virtual public transport to the next level.
MAN New Lion’s City – the next generation on the road
The new Bus DLC brings the entire MAN New Lion’s City family straight into your fleet—in one especially comprehensive package for €19.99. Many of you asked not to pay separately for each variant, and we’ve taken that feedback to heart. Starting October 7 you can look forward to six buses that offer maximum variety and impressive realism.
At the core are three base models: 12C, 18C, and the brand-new 19C.
MAN New Lion’s City 12C – 12 m solo bus with great maneuverability, available with 2 or 3 doors
MAN New Lion’s City 18C – 18 m articulated bus for maximum capacity, selectable with 3 or 4 doors
MAN New Lion’s City 19C – 18.7 m articulated bus, the longest of the family, available with 3 or 4 doors
At almost 19 meters, the New Lion’s City 19C is the longest bus of the entire lineup and an impressive sight in city traffic. Each version comes with different door configurations so you can find the perfect vehicle for every route and demand.
We worked hard to recreate the new generation of the Lion’s City range as precisely as possible. From the highly detailed 3D model and a cockpit packed with controls to an authentic start/stop system, every detail shows careful craftsmanship.
A special highlight is the RGB ambient lighting, which you can customize through the vehicle menu. For unmistakable sound, all engine, door, and interior noises were recorded directly from real buses. Every drive feels like you’re at the wheel of a true modern city bus—complete with realistic vehicle physics, precise steering, and the natural momentum when starting or braking.
Thanks to close cooperation with MAN Truck & Bus, Dr. Richard, and the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR), liveries, destination displays, and all technical details are officially licensed. For anyone who values authenticity, this is the most comprehensive bus package yet for City Transport Simulator.

Free bus map expansion for Depot + South Route
Alongside the new Bus DLC, all owners of the Depot + South Route DLC will receive a free map update that significantly expands your network.
Eight new bus stops—five of them completely new—take you deep into a vibrant high-rise district where glass facades, busy sidewalks, and bustling streets create an entirely new atmosphere. At the new stations in the business district you’ll need tight scheduling and large vehicles to handle the heavy passenger flow.
A special highlight is the new terminal stop at Shuji-Nakamura Square, a central hub in the Japanese quarter where bus and tram lines meet.
There’s also a new connection point in Eglundsdorf: a through-station that leads on via Jakob-De-Zoet Street to the depot, which now features several dedicated bus stops. You can start or end your day here—just like tram drivers already
