City Transport Simulator 2026 changes
Today, we’d like to give you a first look at the upcoming content for City Transport Simulator 2026 – our Roadmap for 2026 is here! 🗺️
One highlight we especially want to call out is the upcoming map expansion planned for 2027, which will finally introduce intercity routes to the game – one of the most requested features by the community.
In addition, update v2026.0.2 is already live, bringing many improvements and fixes to the game. The roadmap shows what we are currently working on and which features, updates, and add-ons you can expect in the coming months.

Alongside the roadmap, a new update is available that fixes many reported issues and further improves the gameplay experience.

AI vehicles stay in their lanes (Krankenhaus Nord)
Stuck AI pedestrians fixed (Schöneberg)
No more collisions with trams when turning
Vehicles no longer stop incorrectly at green lights (Wasserturm)
Pedestrians no longer block trams unnecessarily (Hauptbahnhof)
Reduced traffic jams through improved traffic behavior

“Traffic light ignored” detection works correctly (Schillerstraße)
Passengers now reliably disembark at stops
Break times function correctly
Infinite loop after reset fixed
In-game hints work reliably
Error message added when passing blocked switches
Combo points are now correctly removed
