Tatra KT4D

In Q3 2026, the iconic Tatra KT4D tram will be added to the game. This high-floor articulated tram shaped the cityscapes of many major cities in East Germany for decades, including Berlin, Leipzig, Halle, Erfurt and Zwickau. While it has been gradually replaced by low-floor trams in many cities, it is still in operation in parts of Germany and especially in Eastern Europe.

In City Transport Simulator 2026, the KT4D returns with its unique driving experience, including authentic sounds such as the warning bell before doors close. Key features such as the distinctive door control via a multi-position rotary switch have been faithfully recreated. The tram can also be operated in double traction, where the rear unit is powered through the coupling from the front vehicle, meaning only the front pantograph needs to be raised.

More details about the KT4D will be shared in the coming weeks on Steam and across our social media channels.

Map DLC: Vienna Bus & Tram Steam post image

A major milestone awaits players in Q4 2026 with the Map DLC: Vienna Bus & Tram, introducing the first real-world map to City Transport Simulator 2026.

The city of Vienna will be fully integrated into the game and includes three lines: two tram lines and one bus line. While we are not revealing the exact routes just yet, we are confident that players familiar with Vienna may already recognize some of them from the first images.Steam post image

In addition to the lines, which feature over 1,000 newly created buildings, the DLC also includes vehicles in authentic Vienna configuration. These include the Vienna-spec Citybus C2 (solo version with three doors and articulated version with four doors), as well as the iconic ULF A and ULF B trams.

These Vienna-specific vehicles differ in various details from their standard versions, such as modified dashboards and sliding doors. More information will be revealed closer to release.

Flexity Graz

The final DLC for 2026 introduces a new tram to the game: the Flexity Graz, a brand-new low-floor tram developed by Alstom. It will also release in Q4 2026, with more information and visuals to follow on Steam and social media throughout the year.

Through the Season Pass, players get a clear overview of the vehicles and content planned for the year ahead. The goal is to offer a diverse mix of new and classic vehicles, as well as both bus and tram content, ensuring there is something for every player.

In addition to new vehicles, work on new gameplay features is ongoing. As always, player feedback after release will be evaluated and used to shape an updated roadmap.

If you haven’t already, make sure to add the game to your Steam wishlist:
