addedWe introduced four new campaigns to the main story mode: Campaign II: Last Conqueror of Britannia, Campaign III The Lost Eagles of Germania, Campaign IV: The Gallic Wars, and Campaign V: The Third Punic War . Each campaign was initially released for free, completing our vision of ancient Roman history by adding new biomes, challenging battles, unique enemies, and fresh mechanics to the core game. On top of that, they gave us the opportunity to present historical characters such as Agricola, Germanicus or Julius Caesar.
changedPrice Adjustment for Campaign DLCsWe want every player who has supported us from the beginning to enjoy this content, and many of you already have it for free. Those who already downloaded the DLCs, will still be able to enjoy them for free.
removedPrice Adjustment for Campaign DLCsHowever, we are announcing a price change for these four Campaign DLCs. Starting on January 12th of next year, these DLCs will no longer be free and will be individually priced at $0.99 USD / €0.99 EUR each.
changedWhy the Change? Let’s value the Hard WorkThis modest price point—just $0.99/ €0.99—is easily accessible and serves a critical purpose: recognizing the value of our work and helping us with development.
addedWhy the Change? Let’s value the Hard WorkAs a small team, developing complex, story-driven campaigns requires an immense amount of time and resources. We observed that sometimes, free content is not always perceived with the same value as paid content. By adding a nominal price, we hope to ensure the immense effort our small team put into these campaigns is recognized, which helps us justify the continued high-quality content development for Citadelum.
changedFinal Opportunity: Download Now!Before this change takes effect on January 12th, we are giving everyone a final, clear chance to acquire this content for free.

Ave Citizens! We have important news to share with our dedicated community. Since the release of our empire-building game, Citadelum, we have been dedicated to improving the experience with several major updates and free content releases.

We introduced four new campaigns to the main story mode: Campaign II: Last Conqueror of Britannia, Campaign III The Lost Eagles of Germania, Campaign IV: The Gallic Wars, and Campaign V: The Third Punic War. Each campaign was initially released for free, completing our vision of ancient Roman history by adding new biomes, challenging battles, unique enemies, and fresh mechanics to the core game. Price Adjustment for Campaign DLCs

We want every player who has supported us from the beginning to enjoy this content, and many of you already have it for free. Those who already downloaded the DLCs, will still be able to enjoy them for free.

However, we are announcing a price change for these four Campaign DLCs. Starting on January 12th of next year, these DLCs will no longer be free and will be individually priced at $0.99 USD / €0.99 EUR each.

Why the Change? Let’s value the Hard Work

We know this is a difficult announcement, and we want to be completely transparent about our reasoning.

This modest price point—just $0.99/ €0.99—is easily accessible and serves a critical purpose: recognizing the value of our work and helping us with development.

As a small team, developing complex, story-driven campaigns requires an immense amount of time and resources. We observed that sometimes, free content is not always perceived with the same value as paid content. By adding a nominal price, we hope to ensure the immense effort our small team put into these campaigns is recognized, which helps us justify the continued high-quality content development for Citadelum.

Final Opportunity: Download Now!

Before this change takes effect on January 12th, we are giving everyone a final, clear chance to acquire this content for free.

If you have not yet claimed the Britannia, Germania, The Gallic Wars, and Third Punic War campaigns, please download them now to keep them permanently in your library at no cost. And share it with all your friends playing Citadelum.

We are still actively working on improving our beloved title and the overall game experience. We deeply appreciate every piece of feedback received and thank you all for your help throughout the development of Citadelum.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
