We’ve been listening carefully to all the feedback and as a result we have just released our first post-launch patch.

Below are the full patch notes including some quality of life fixes that should help smooth out your journey across Gévaudan.

🛠 Patch Notes Summary

Changes:

Keyboard controls are now working properly.
Keyboard prompts are functioning correctly during tutorials.
The ESC key now opens the in-game menu.
In the Spanish version, the word “quitar” has been replaced with “salir.”
In the Hospital level, only one furnace remains operational to help players with FPS issues progress.
The Killer Plant enemy stats have been corrected in the Monster Chart.
Exiting the Relics section now properly returns you to the correct menu line.
The text in front of the first save statue has been updated to clearly indicate that you must press UP in front of the statue.
The Chronicles Master trophy has been restored. For players who had unlocked everything except this trophy before the patch, simply enter the game and load a save file where you have defeated the Beast a second time — the trophy will pop.
The Gauntlet behind the third door in Apcher Castle has been simplified. There is now always a platform underneath for “leap of faith”-style jumps.
Spelling mistakes have been corrected in one of the endings and in the credit roll.

💡 Recommendations:

We suggest players check whether their antivirus is causing long loading times — this is often the case.
Sometimes, Steam Input needs to be manually enabled or disabled to resolve controller issues.
Regarding recordings on platforms like Twitch: Recording works perfectly in FULL SCREEN mode. In windowed mode, parts of the game that open in a separate window may not be captured correctly. Players need to configure their setup to record both windows.
