Chronicle: Unit Eight changes
Time for the weekly patch notes!
ADDITIONS
NEW MINI BOSS - "Zelos Missile Defense System"
----> Chance to appear during the pirate base exterior area only.
----> Stops progress and requires you to kill all of its guns to pass.
Shadows now also have recoil!
If the player takes fatal damage from a bullet but has more than 60% health, health is now reduced to 1 HP.
ADJUSTMENTS
Background optimizations for performance.
Laser barricades no longer provide screenshake when hit with bullets.
Perk - KEEP SCRAPS - Level 1 cost reduced from 250 -> 200 (and the higher levels are also 50 scrap less).
BUG FIXES
Fixed a bug where ground unit enemies would attempt to hide their shadow on explosion, breaking the game. Why did they even have shadows?
Fixed a visual bug during the Tetraknights boss fight where they would not flash upon taking damage.
Fixed a visual bug where Scraps now always sit above everything else on screen.
Fixed a visual bug where explosions now always sit above everything else on screen (except scraps).
Fixed a bug where Ground Turret's Scraps would fly off screen or really far away on explosion.
Fixed a bug where Scraps and Ground Turrets would not update their killcounts in the game stats screen.
Fixed a massive bug where Challenges were not updating correctly, not resetting correctly, and also breaking on save. They were just kind of a mess.
