Chronicle: Unit Eight changes
Time for the weekly patch notes!
ADDITIONS
New Weapon - Pulse Blast - Decimates all foes and projectiles with a close range shotgun-like pulse! (Attacks 50% slower than your current attack speed, does damage equal to current damage x2 (scales down to damage x 0.8 at the edges of the pulse)
Added node on grid to unlock the Pulse Blast.
Captain Zelos now has a new second phase with lots of destruction and it's not easy.
ADJUSTMENTS
The text object that shows your current scraps in The Grid and during the story mode runs has been extended and no longer acts weird when you reach 4 digits.
BUG FIXES
Fixed some piping in the grid, its alignment was off and didn't light up. - Ongoing improvements over time.
Fixed a bug where sometimes the player's stats would be reset when you explode.
Fixed an audio bug where the music would sometimes not change after reaching a boss.
Fixed a bug where a new of the perks would not save or persist between runs.
Fixed a bug where you would sometimes not receive the scraps that you collected after finishing a run when you reached The Grid.
Fixed a bug where the Laser powerup would not recharge randomly.
Fixed a bug where the Laser would not recharge after having the current laser expire.
Fixed a visual bug where the boss' health bars were not overlayed correctly and appeared offset.
