fixedWe'd like to start by saying thank you to everyone who has been playing Chroma Shift. We hope you're having a great time! Thanks to community feedback and playthroughs, we have identified several bugs and issues, which we have addressed. We thank you for your patience as we sort out these issues. You can view the changes below.
fixedVersion 1.0.1.1Bugs -Fixed a glitch where Theta's Dash ability would occasionally fail to break walls, improved its hit detection -Added collision checks to characters on left and right edges of screen, will prevent dashing, jumping and gliding off screen and locking movement. -Added changes to the camera to auto zoom out if players were about to go off-screen, and to prevent players zooming in when doing so would leave them off-screen. -Fixed Anti-Aliasing settings glitch which prevented the AA from being on anything other than low after changing the settings for the first time. -Added fix for black screen on client when joining game. Changes -Added several orbs to levels where falling down areas cost the player significant time and added nothing to solving the actual puzzle -Created spawners for orbs in certain levels where a simple mistake for players forced them to redo whole puzzles. These will spawn at a point where they let the players get back to where they were before the mistake. They do not change the way the puzzles are solved. -Removed some unnecessary walls and areas that just confused the movement of some levels -Added a tutorial decal to the beginning of the game to aid with new players picking up controls -Added several visual aids to help with some of the more obscure areas for the players to go. -Removed several possibilities for the players to get stuck. Notes The black screen glitch is hard to replicate reliably for testing. The fix implemented seems to remove the bug but it may still be present.
removedVersion 1.0.1.0Bugs -Removed a debug instance of controls that remained in the live version Notes Teleporting and maps not loading correctly were a side effect of these debug controls, those should no longer be possible. Should fix all instances of maps not streaming in and players randomly changing colours.
