First, thank you.
To everyone who has played Chowdown Kitty, left a review, shared feedback, or simply given our game a chance, it truly means the world to us.
We are a small team of 5 developers, and everything in Chowdown Kitty was created by us. Every piece of art was hand drawn. The music, the story, and the code were all crafted by our team with care and intention. We are proud to say that no AI was used in the creation of this game. What you see on screen is the result of real hands, real time, and real love for what we do.
We are incredibly grateful that you chose to spend your time with something we made.
Below are the latest fixes and improvements.
Previous Fixes Now Live
Glitched cats with PCG in their name from demo save data are now restored to their original selves • Fixed an issue where story progression could stop at certain points and block future story events. Any missed story content will now play in order the next time you enter Adventure Mode • Fixed screen flashing when selecting a stage after completing the 7th island • Fixed issue where part of the game board could be cut off after completing the 7th island • Increased volume of all story characters by 15 percent
Latest Update Fixes
Gramps now has fewer typos when speaking • Restarting an Adventure stage manually will no longer change the cat • Restarting an Adventure stage manually will no longer change the ice layout • Winning a stage in overtime now consistently unlocks the next stage • Losing an Adventure stage now allows you to retry instead of returning to the title screen • Losing a Free Play stage now returns you to the lounge instead of the title screen • Adventure stage numbers no longer change on the completion screen • Cat names will no longer stretch excessively across the food bowl • Speculative fix for cats evolving before their hunger bar visually reaches the white line • Adjusted achievement timing so they are less likely to unlock too early or too late
