Hi there!

As you may have seen on our page, we are running a final playtest on Steam.

It will be live until March 21st, 11PM UTC+1.

While the Demo was focused on the core gameplay loop of observing the Palace, learning more about each object and analyzing them, the Steam Playtest expands upon the major feature of the secondary gameplay loop: the dialogue.

Originally, dialogue was meant to be semi-linear, with the bigger part being related to the current day in the palace. But we decided to go for a fully dynamic approach: now, you will get specific dialogue based on which objects you analyzed the most.

Depending on how well received is that new design, we'd love to expand on it with post-launch updates as there are many exciting things to do with it and tie it to the other major systems of the game (observation, analysis and exploration).

But for now, we hope you have a great time with the playtest and are looking forward to your feedback. We are also working very hard on the last pieces of Content (mostly all the endings and their variants), Quality of Life, QA and Polishing before release to give you the best possible game we can!

See you on the Mental Palace,

Benji
