Performance Update for Cherry VX
No leftover turkey for us! Hard crunch over the weekend.
Following major update IV we had some reports of issues concerning performance on older hardware. Further investigation found that there was some serious 'over-rendering' of the models resulting in poor performance on older systems and stuttering when getting close to models on all systems. This update provides optimizations that have gone a long way in resolving these problems.
Also, some reported very long load times. This issue has also been resolved resulting in start up load times being decreased by about 80%.
Lastly, we fixed the issue of the player's 'D' flipping at unwanted times for Steam VR users, tweaked the pose animations to look better, prevented drifting errors (when rotating the platform or model) and squashed a bunch of other bugs.
