Cherry in the Sky changes
The FINAL major update to Cherry in the Sky is now live!
It's been years coming, almost everything has been tweaked, upgraded, or adjusted, including a new post-game ability. From this point forward, I will only be doing necessary bugfixes to the game. This is my complete vision. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
Cherry in the Sky 3.0 Full Change & Fix List:
General
New ability: in post-game Adventure Mode, player can listen to the winds (comparable to a mini-map) by using Fruit Pts and holding down a button.
All of Cherry’s horizontal movement speed increased 20% (except for Dress Poof).
Stronger hints on where to find the 150th Cherry.
Fixed issue in a few Adventure Scenes that could prevent the all-fruit Cherry from appearing until you returned to the scene.
Fixed potential save corrupting bug with areas that have two Transport Wind Zones leading to the same Wind Zone.
Fixed bug where you can be hit during a KickTwirl if you KickTwirl immediately after getting hit.
Better map hint for Golden Cherries.
Bumped achievement total to 68. Over 50 new achievements!
Baddies
Fixed issues with Pi’s wind graphic moving absurdly fast.
Improved Sports & Pi’s attack visuals.
Graphics
Tweaked lighting, color, bloom, and depth of field for numerous areas. Especially late game.
Greatly adjusted lighting and mood for Lemon Su intro cutscene.
Sheaves of grass now subtly animate in the Sundae Ranch.
Major visual upgrade to all scenes that contain fog/smoke.
Slight adjustment to outline fidelity.
Fixed issues with scene transitions:
Screen turns white, yellow, and gray respectively to the destination.
At scene end, no extraneous objects appear over the transition overlay.
Title screen changing background color should always match the last scene now.
Menus
Made the Secret Skies hints persistent until action is executed.
Sound
Added SFX for Main Map navigation Wind Scene highlighting.
Added SFX for baddies spawning into Gathering Scene.
Improved Sports & Pi’s attack sounds.
Cleaned up excess noise in some SFX.
Touched up orchestration and composition on a number of tracks (Added them to the OST zip file while still including the originals):

BGM 08 - Higher Thoughts - Lemon Su's Theme
Wind Scenes
Fine tuned positioning of grab points on numerous platforms.
“The Sky” Gathering Grove’s non-functional Wind Zones when they spawn overlapping is now solved.
Technical & Misc
Game has been moved to Unity 2021.3.9f1.
Hundreds upon hundreds of minor bug fixes.
