We’ve been fairly quiet in the last few months but development on Kings Gauntlet: Chess Revolution has continued smoothly. To keep everyone in the loop we’ve decided to update the demo with a fresh coat of paint and some extra features. We’re also happy to announce that a new monarch has joined George in the chess revolution. You’ll now be able to play with one extra character!
Here’s a list of the major changes:
⁃ New character: Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. Fast attacks but short range, dominate your opponent in the race for the crown.
⁃ UI rework. Game mode selection screen. Character selection screen. Unique portraits for each character.
⁃ Checkmate cam. New system implemented which lets you review the last few seconds before checkmate each game.
⁃ Visual improvements to the crown system and more.
⁃ QoL improvements and bug fixes.
