Champion of Lore changes
It’s been a while since our last update — sorry about that.
A lot has happened on our side. We’ve started receiving feedback from industry professionals, and we recently attended GDC. It was an incredible week meeting people, discovering new ideas and technologies, and, of course, showing Champion of Lore.
Here we're celebrating the last night
Anyway, we came back with a lot of changes.
I created a script that shows the cards as an arch. What we had before was ok for testing and development, but getting the game ready for you deserved more:
Other changes like the lightning are… subtle. (We’ll let you be the judge of that.)
Right now, we’re working on one of the biggest pieces of feedback we received: a complete UI overhaul. Samu Mike is redesigning it from the ground up, aiming for something much cleaner and less noisy — so the animations and environments can really shine.
At the same time, we’re getting everything ready to start putting the game in players’ hands.
If you wishlist the game on Steam, you’ll be among the first to know when we open access to an early semi-closed beta, before the public demo. We’ll need as much feedback as possible to shape the experience and continue building the Lore universe.
There’s also a lot happening in parallel:
Kanna now has more attack cards
We’re expanding the shared Knowledge cards
And we’re continuing to add animations across the game
That’s all for now — more to come soon.
