Repeated intro
Hello everyone! Today, we come bearing a ton of development vlogs, featuring stuff that the team has been hard at work on, over the past few months.

addedFirst up, we have one of our short-form Flag Stop videos, showcasing a new locomotive coming to Century of Steam, the GE Class C-C 162/162-6GHM842 800HP (rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?), built for the White Pass & Yukon Railroad. These interesting-looking oddballs have quite the storied history on the WP&Y from the mid 1950's on to present day and many similar GE-built "Shovel Nose" diesels can be found in many other countries around the world, such as Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Thailand!
addedNext up, we have our second full installment in our in-progress Industries vlog series, Industries Part 2, which showcases a new kind of locomotive for us, a Baldwin 6-16 1/3C "Steam Motor", also known as a "Steam Dummy", on logging duty deep in the mountains of Ponderosa. This vlog showcases more of our industry UI, engine facility UI, cargo transfers, cargo damage, payout modifiers, commodities moving between multiple industries and more.
addedNext up is a Flag Stop that showcases a new and rather exciting class of locomotive, from a legendary coal-hauling railroad out east. From the Baldwin Locomotive Works comes the 12-32 1/4E Drawing 5 - East Broad Top Railroad & Coal Company's #14 and #15. These are some seriously heavy-hitting engines, with tall drivers and lots of power and we're certain that they'll be a common sight on your railroads in the future.
changedNext up, a Q&A Video, responding to questions that our Patrons have asked us. What's the gameplay loop like? How will interchanges work? All good questions, all answered in the video.
addedAnd finally, to wrap up this round of updates, a new and interesting piece of rolling stock! The Swayne Lumber Company's heavy-duty 38-foot "connected-truck" logging cars, that later found their way to the famed West Side Lumber Company. Sturdy, large and high-capacity, these cars will be mainstays wherever lumber is to be found.
addedFurthermore, on our Patreon, we've just published a new dev vlog that talks about the game map systems we'll be bringing to Century of Steam, as well as new rolling stock sounds, the move from Unreal Engine 5.4 to 5.7 and a ton of performance optimizations.

A train without freight isn't much fun and in this Flag Stop, we showcase equipment that'll be featured quite commonly as special loads for mines and the history behind them. From a tiny Baldwin 0-4-0, to the minecarts it hauled, the industries themselves and more. These were things that worked out of sight, out of mind and much of this flavor of railroading is lost to the history books - but we're nothing if not thorough in what we want to represent in Century of Steam.

As always, our dev vlogs go live to Patreon one month before they go out to Youtube, so if you like the work we're doing and would like to support our efforts in getting this game made, your patronage is greatly appreciated.
