fixedGameplay: - You can now select duplicate cards (like a pair of 3s) in poker, blackjack, and Three Card Poker — the old "can't play two identical cards!" block has been lifted. - Fixed a case where an enemy with check on your King would let some other piece capture a random unit instead of going for the kill. The threatening piece now correctly prioritizes the King capture.
changedQuality of life: - Rename your soldiers! Click the ✎ icon next to a piece's name on the info card to give them a custom nickname ("Big Mike" the Pawn). Names persist across promotions and save files. - Controller: press X twice while a unit is selected to jump focus to the rename button. The on-screen keyboard opens automatically when renaming with a controller or on Steam Deck.
changedSteam Deck: - Bumped several small fonts on always-visible HUD elements (roster counts, level badges, decision panels) for better readability at handheld resolution.
fixedStability: - Fixed a potential crash in enemy AI when evaluating captures on pieces being despawned mid-turn. - Perpetual-check throttle counters now persist correctly across save/load.
