Meet Helemir, the new Leader of Wealth

While we deep-dive into the development of the Ranked Mode, we're back this week with an exciting new update.

This time, we're glad to announce that Helemir, King of Rovalia is the new Leader of Wealth in Causa, Voices of the Dusk.

Details about the background of this character have been revealed:

"Helemir was the rightful heir to the Crown until the late Empress changed the laws of succession. Fearing the temper of the soon-to-be king, the Council swiflty approved the new system based on merit, leaving behind the succession by mere inheritance. For many, Helemir is a careless aristocrat, completely indifferent to the needs of the people. Nevertheless, he certainly knows who to please to ensure the stability of the Empire. In the midst of the crisis, the rich of Rovalia continue to support his claim to the throne, while the Council members, little by little, put a price to their favor."

Regarding Helemir’s playstyle, his Leader Decisions are unlocked when reaching Level 3, 4, and 6 of Cause:

At Level 3,

• Prepare: Add two Noble Privileges to your Hand; or

• Summon: Invoke an Astarian Noble.

At Level 4,

• Inheritance: Gather 3, then draw three cards; or

• Prepare +: Add a Rovalian Aristocrat to your Hand and gain +1 play for the turn.

At Level 6,

• Summon: Invoke two Rovalian Guards; or

• Summon: Invoke an Rovalian Lord.

Here are the details of the aforementioned cards:

• Noble Privileges: Lvl 2 | Event | Draw a card, then Gather 1 and gain +1 Play for the turn.

• Rovalian Guard: Lvl 3 | Mercenary | 2/3 | Vigilant. If you have three or more cards in Hand at the end of your turn, gain +1 Attack.

• Rovalian Lord: Lvl 6 | Aristocrat | 2/5 | Initiative: Gain +1 Attack for each card in your Hand.

Here are the Patch Notes 1.0.8:

• AddedNew Leader of WealthHelemir, King of Rovalia. A new free Pre-Built Deck for this Leader is included in the game.

• Uko’s Leader Decisions were re-designed. “Trade” changed to Level 6 instead of Level 3, replacing “Disuade +”. The new Decision at Level 3 is “Summon: Invoke a Silk Merchant.”

• Deneria’s Leader Decisions were re-designed. New Levels were assigned to “Politics” and “Disuade +.”

• New content was included in the Market. Available for both Organite and Gold.

• New Pre-Built Decks were added to the game.

• The visual effect of the Attack of Rogue Characters was corrected.

• The videos of Backgrounds and Leaders were optimized.
