The mobile version of CATO preserves the complete adventure from the original Steam release: more than 200 handcrafted levels, over 70 collectible skins, hidden rooms, boss battles, minigames, and plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered. To keep Cat and Toast moving smoothly on touchscreens, we redesigned the controls for phones and tablets of different sizes:

  • Adjustable virtual-button sizes and positions

  • Accessibility options including Slow Mode and level skipping

  • Support for mainstream controllers and two-player co-op

  • Game Center achievements on iOS

The Crunchyroll version is available through Crunchyroll Game Vault. Players with an active Crunchyroll Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan membership can play at no additional cost.

CATO Merchandise Crowdfunding Is Now Live!

Our brand-new CATO merchandise crowdfunding campaign will launch on Modian China. The campaign features near 20 original CATO merchandise items to choose from, so Cat and Toast can keep you company whether you’re studying, working, out and about, or relaxing at home.

The CATO Board Game Is Now Available!

The CATO board game, Entropy CATO, brings the world of CATO to the tabletop. It is an easy-to-learn, card-stacking game featuring a cat-bed dice tower, player pieces based on different cat skins, and effect cards starring familiar NPCs and bosses.

It is now available for purchase on Taobao: Taobao

CATO is reaching even more players, with new all-time-low discounts across multiple platforms. Whether you play on a big screen or a small one, you are invited to join Cat and Toast on their adventure.

Do not forget that CATO also has Steam Community items, including trading cards and emoticons. You can also redeem an exclusive Steam Deck startup movie from the Points Shop, so CATO can greet you every time you power on your device!

What Is Team Woll Working on Next?

  1. Performance Improvements and Bug Fixes

The mobile port gave us an opportunity to further optimize performance and reduce the game’s install size. These improvements have already been brought to the Steam version, helping the game run more smoothly while using less storage space. More optimizations are still in progress and will arrive in future updates.

  1. A New Community Skin Design Event

We are also preparing a new round of community skin submissions! If you would like to see a cat or toast design of your own added to the game, stay tuned for participation details and event rules.

  1. More Content Updates

Meanwhile, we are porting CATO to Apple TV—yes, you will be able to play with the TV remote—and exploring Steam Workshop support and a built-in level editor. If you have requests or ideas, please leave us a comment!

We are sorry that we cannot share firm release dates for these plans yet. We will not stop updating CATO, but the pace will slow down as we shift most of our attention to our next game, which has now entered full production. We look forward to sharing more when it is ready!
