changedHi everyone! I've been working behind the scenes to get some bug fixes and quality of life upgrades to the Caterpillar King demo. Here's a list of what's been changed:
addedOne of the main pieces of feedback I received from players was that the instructions for the game could use more clarity; so I added some more instructions to help improve clarity of some of the mechanics. I didn't want to add too much text so I tried to keep a balance between holding the player's hand and letting them discover things on their own.
changedThe turn now auto-ends if everyone has moved and the Caterpillar is scared or doesn't know where his food is.
addedEnemies now have red outlines to distinguish them as 'enemies.' I may or may not revert this depending on player feedback.
changedLevel 4 has been modified to be slightly easier. I noticed that this level is a bit of a difficulty spike for most players and I wanted to keep the gameplay relaxing and not stressful.

This covers most of the changes in the game. In other news, Caterpillar King will be part of Steam's NextFest in the summer so be on the lookout for that!
