CatboyZOOM changes
I'm so, so happy to say that CatboyZOOM is now available to everyone to play! We have poured in a ton of time and passion into this project and really hope you enjoy our humble silly movement game. This past year has been a year of incredible growth, and the reception for the game has been remarkable - it still feels a bit crazy how a bunch of people are so excited for something I'm creating, but I'm so glad I can be in this position creatively. If you try the game out, I kindly ask if you could leave a review on our Steam page, it helps us out a ton especially near release, as reviews push the visibility of the game further so more people can find us! All four worlds are unlocked!
Platinum medal times! These are hidden on each level until unlocked, and act as a stepping stone between Gold and Dev times
World run timer! Complete an entire world in succession to achieve a full world run and track it on the leaderboards! Includes splits as well
Friends leaderboards, so you can directly compare who is better
Find your Catgirl twin! She should be somewhere in the world...

Greatly extended the Hub!
🏃♂️ Movement Changes
Improved surf behaviour to allow jumping on all surf ramp angles, but repeated jumps on surf ramps will have a very slight delay
This change should help improve the feel of jumping on rocks and other slanted surfaces, while preventing abuse from bhopping on surf ramps
Greatly improved wallkicking behaviour. They should now give you the appropriate amount of height when wallkicking, even off of uneven walls and rounded edges
Improved auto-strafing mechanics to better keep you on surf ramps
Bushes are now obstacles! They will slow you down if you run into them!
Removed speedcap. Well, it's at 99999 now, if you can reach it 😼
✨ Improvements
Adjusted goal hitbox to better match goalpost model
Added double-clicking to loading levels in the level select
Added mouse invert to the options menu
Adjustments to some levels in Momo's Island, mostly to prevent major skips that break the intent of the levels
Name changes to the 'Sliding 10X' levels
Added a skip to the intro cinematic on the title screen
🔨 Fixed
Fixed velocity when leaving ramps while ground sliding not properly adjusting
Fixed movement starting after releasing a movement key after reset if multiple movement keys are held down at time of reset, making the timer start unintentionally
Fixed a bug that gave way too much height when jumping off of ramps
Fixed sliding particle effects not appearing sometimes
Fixed player having input control while in the pause menu (prevents a softlock!)
