CatboyZOOM changes
Hiya everyone! This update has been massive in terms of getting major functionality into the game. We finally fully support Steam Leaderboards! You will now automatically submit times for every PR you get on every level, if connected to Steam, and can browse against every other time submitted to the game. We'll be adding filtering for your friends list in the future, as well as submitting times for full World (and game) runs! We've also listened to your feedback of wanting more height control in the game, so with that we've implemented a Wallkick feature that y'all can play around (and break a few levels) with!
Alongside that, behind the scenes I've been cleaning up our art pipeline, making lots of headway on polishing up the other unrelased worlds for our Early Access release, and prepping the game so we can add other playable characters and doing more worldbuilding (catgirl incoming??)
Another BIG change is you can now leave a Steam review on our demo! If you've tried the demo and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a review there, we'd appreciate it a ton~!! We'll be preparing our demo for the upcoming Steam Next Fest later in October, and hoping that helps us kick off our Early Access release!

Leaderboards on pre-release versions are temporary! It's also recommended that you clear your personal save, to avoid any issues.

Added Global Leaderboards! Leave your best time for every level and compete against others!

Fresh new look and animations for our catboy protagonist
A full new level added to Momo's Island, rounding it out to 15 full levels present in the demo
Movement Changes
Added Wallkicking! Hold space while in-air to prep for a Wallkick when you hit a vertical wall, or press space while against a wall to kick off of it! Kicking off a wall reflects your current velocity against the wall you're hitting, as well as giving you a vertical boost. You can more height off a Wallkick based on your angle of approach, so hitting a wall straight-on will give you much more height than hitting it from a shallow angle, but you will also sacrifice more horizontal speed for that extra height
Added 'skimming' which alleviates the behaviour of bumping platform edges When bumping the edge of a platform, your speed will re-correct itself if you clear the platform's corner soon after bumping. This prevents a lot of frustrating corner bumps which can launch you unpredictably. This also prevents some inconsistent strats that relied on edge bumping
Speed boosts from falling on the ground sliding will now apply shortly overtime This incentivizes sliding on the ground more, as opposed to just gaining speed through constantly slide jumping

New model for the Catboy, along with a slew of animation improvements!

Some balance changes to the tutorial levels
Added Momo dialogue to the level Rebound
Added tutorial text popups on the first world of levels, helping onboard players who don't like listening to Momo :momoZOOM:

Allowed closing the Pause menu using 'esc'
Added a fancy medal colour for dev times!

Added a strafe helper, which shows an arrow pointing towards your heading velocity. This can help with learning optimal strafing angles
Added an 'are you sure?' confirmation when clearing saves

Fixed slide bar not resetting when momentarily in-air
Fixed coyote jumps sometimes occuring when they shouldn't
Fixed clipping on crouch animations
Fixed not crouching when there isn't enough space to stand
