Developer Survival Maps – Every Two Weeks

We’re not just highlighting your creations—we’re joining in too!

Every two weeks, we’ll unveil custom Survival Maps made by our developers, delivering fresh challenges to test your mettle. These, alongside community maps, will be promoted via the newsfeed on the title screen and our Steam News hub.

New Steam Subforum: Share Your Forts

We’ve launched a brand-new Steam subforum dedicated to your Level Editor creations. Alongside the Steam Workshop, this is your stage—where you can share, collaborate, and inspire. Your imaginative designs will help shape the future of Hogar, and we want to ensure they receive the spotlight they deserve.

Here’s a breakdown of the latest hotfix, aimed at smoothing your experience and ironing out a few lingering issues:

  • Added missing dialogue line for outpost destruction in 4-0 (spoiler alert).

  • Survival enemy markers now appear when 50 enemies remain.

  • Players can no longer destroy the outpost in 2-0 without triggering failure.

  • Temporary fix for final level wave markers; permanent solution coming soon.

  • Resolved LOD misapplication issues.

  • Corrected missing scenario descriptions.

  • Fixed bug preventing selection of specific building pieces.

  • Disabled difficulty selection for survival maps created in the editor.

  • Brightness settings screen now behaves as intended.

  • Survival booster reward screen now closes correctly post-selection.

  • Fixed issue with multiple unit deployment on the same spot.

  • Resolved Mistlight piece becoming unavailable after reloading.

  • Updated localization to improve translations across several languages.
