Update 1.02 | Game Breakers and Facelifts All Around!

Our first big patch is out and it is so bittersweet. Below we listed some new additions of content and a list of our bug fixes that was preventing progress or just being a bit of a nuisance.

fixedOur first big patch is out and it is so bittersweet. Below we listed some new additions of content and a list of our bug fixes that was preventing progress or just being a bit of a nuisance. Please note that we are aware of much more bugs in our game and we hope to squash them in future patches like odd camera transitions and features acting a bit weird with both textures and gameplay. First off, the bad news. Our updates are overwritting save files! ːsteamsadː Thanks to you players for bringing this to our attention. Save files are overwritten upon new implemented updates. We apologize for this inconvenience and are at work to make sure this is resolved ASAP. I posted a guide to a temporary solution as we approach this concern for future updates. You can find the guide in our Bug Reports and Techinical Isses Sub Forum here on Steam! Now onto the good stuff!

Go beat the game and see our new little segment we made for you all! * CONTENT (WIP) - Steam Achievements implemented! CANNOT be UNLOCKED yet but will be available soon! Stay tuned for more details! * FEATURE - Raised camera on the King Corgi boss room. * FEATURE - Prevent player from moving around the chessboard in unintended ways (New colliders to progress player direction as intended, check bug fixes for specific details). * FEATURE - Erase feature for save files.
fixedBug FixesFix persistent switches (FINALLY) Fixed the switches in the Treasury level that prevents players from progressing and completing the Treasury Level on death or level reload. * Changed version to 1.02 in title and credits * Invisible walls in Garden Hub Fixed a bug that allows Stretch to jump over the hedge and go past locked gates in the Garden Hub * Treasury_Levels appearing on Save Files "Treasury_Levels" should now read "Treasury" and "Labyrinth_Level" should now read "Labyrinth" on the save file buttons * Made version text on the main menu smaller * Fixed colliders on Chess Pieces during King Corgi Boss. * Blocked the edges of the chessboards to keep Stretch from escaping * Fixed Camera Angle Smoothness in Labyrinth/Treasury Level. * Fixed Treasury Level not transitioning to second half of the level (would go to boss immediately after the Labyrinth section without having to do the Treasury portion of the level) We want to thank you all so much again for your feedback on our game. This update would not have been possible without you all! Seeing more people jump in and let us know what is going on is keeping our passion high and making us want to continue to improve Cat vs. Corgis! It may not be perfect but we will keep on pushing out what we can until we feel the game is at a great point with us here developing and with you, the community!
