Greetings, Villains! We hope your 2026 has been off to a wickedly wonderful start! Today's update includes various gamewide bugfixes and improvements, while we continue to work on our next content update, coming soonish! Read on for more, and thank you for playing Castle Doombad! BALANCE CHANGES: - The lightsaber-wielding Space Hero will no longer deflect projectiles while running on a treadmill BUGFIXES: - Space Heroes will no longer deflect projectiles with their lightsaber in the moment before fully entering the castle (which caused them to sometimes get stuck and soft lock waves) - The Doom-a-rang now behaves properly when deflected by the Space Hero. Also fixed an issue where it could sometimes lose its hitbox and stop hitting heroes - The final "fireball" upgrade for the Pirate Cannon now works/spawns properly - Fixed a bug where Loomkins could sometimes run outside of the castle and get stuck - Fixed various bugs associated with the power going out/lights going off in the Space Madness chapter (some traps not functioning properly when restoring power, etc) - Adjusted one of the possible castle floor layouts in Roguevenge that prevented heroes from reaching the princess and would cause them to get stuck - Heroes will no longer skip past Potato Trolls that are placed on a ladder space directly next to windows - The "Axe-pertise" achievement and "Use Only Manual Traps" challenges will no longer fail due to Goldkins spawning as a result of Baddie Bonuses or Nightmares - Various other minor fixes and stability improvements
