changedNew FeaturesOvergrown! Given the proper care and enough room, plants may become Overgrown. This growing technique encourages your crop to become very large, requiring significantly more water and nutrients before harvest, but yielding many times more bud. To maximize your chance of achieving wild growth, plant four identical strains in a 2x2 pattern, leaving a buffer of at least one empty tile away from any other plants. As below.
addedNew FeaturesOnce overgrown, the buffer is no longer needed and you can safely lay new seeds around the base of the overgrown plant.
addedImprovementsThe ‘remove plant’ tool is fully functional once again. You can find it in the Seeds menu, in your Toolbar next to 'New Field'. -Overgrown plants will receive a “!” at the end of their name, signifying their difference from the rest of your harvest. For example “Snicklefritz #1!”.
addedKnown IssuesThe Harvest view may become temporarily confused when overgrown plants die under varying circumstances. This has no gameplay effect. - Overgrown plant's sprites may temporarily "pop". This has no gameplay effect. - Starting a new game may fail if you attempt to start it immediately after having started a new game. While we work on the next patch, simply restart Cash Crop if you run into this problem. -There is no tutorial for Overgrown planting yet. Enjoy!
