Hi everyone,

I’ve identified the cause of the recent crashes affecting Donut Dodo (on startup) and Cash Cow DX (when loading leaderboards). Unfortunately, the SilentWolf leaderboard backend, which both games rely on for their cross-platform leaderboards, has been shut down without warning as of November 1st.

Because the games are attempting to connect to SilentWolf on launch, this sudden shutdown is causing the crashes some of you are seeing.

I’m already working on uncoupling SilentWolf from both games as the top priority. Here’s what to expect:

  • Steam leaderboards will remain unaffected and can still be accessed normally through Steam.

  • The cross-platform leaderboards will need to be temporarily disabled until a replacement is ready.

  • Long-term, both games will be updated to use a new in-house leaderboard system, though this will take a bit of time to implement properly.

This situation came completely without warning, and I sincerely apologize for the disruption. Fixes are being worked on right now and will be released as soon as possible. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I’ll continue to post updates as progress is made.
