Mods Panel: Statuses and Icons

The panel can be found in Settings → Mods.

What the Icons Mean

  • Grey Checkmark — The mod is installed or subscribed to, but not activated.

  • Green Checkmark — The mod is installed and activated.

  • Yellow Exclamation Mark — The mod conflicts with another mod or was created for a different version of the game.

  • Red Exclamation Mark — The mod is deactivated or pending deletion. A game restart is required to complete the operation.

  • Progress Bar and Darkened Preview — The mod is downloading. Please wait for the download to complete.

  • Favorite Icon — The mod is added to favorites, regardless of its installation or active status.

Subscription and Activation

  • Subscribe — Add the mod to your Steam Workshop subscriptions. If the files are not downloaded yet, attempting to activate it will start the download. Once finished, activate the mod.

  • Activate — Turn on the installed mod.

  • Deactivate — Turn off the mod. Changes apply fully after restarting the game.

  • Unsubscribe — Cancel the subscription and schedule the mod for removal. Before restarting the game, deactivation or unsubscription can be undone: simply subscribe to and activate the mod again.

Conflicts and Priority

A conflict occurs when multiple active mods modify the same game files. The game applies the mod with the higher priority. Refer to the order in the active mods list: the mod higher up on the list takes precedence. To increase the priority of a specific mod, deactivate it and then activate it again.

Additional Actions

When selecting a mod card, the following options are available:

  • Adding to or removing from favorites

  • Opening the mod’s page in the Steam Workshop

  • Viewing the author, tags, and description

  • Accessing the in-game help menu.

If a Mod Doesn't Appear in Game

  • Make sure the mod has a green active status icon.

  • If the icon is yellow, check the mod's version and potential conflicts.

  • Navigate to a different game screen (e.g., Car Dealership, Tuning Shop, or Styling Shop), then return.

  • If that doesn't work, fully restart the game.

  • If the mod still doesn't work, contact its author.

  • Important: Restarting the game is recommended after activating, deactivating, changing priority, or removing mods.
