CarX Drift Racing Online 2 Multiplayer Public Technical Test has launched!
We are opening access to the technical test for everyone! Our primary goal at this stage is to stress-test the online rooms and verify overall performance under load. Please note: as this is a test version, some features and functionality are limited. While we have a list of known issues, we need your detailed feedback on the following points:
Cars clipping/catching on the road: If your car gets stuck or clips through the surface upon slight deformation - please provide a video and the specific map location.
Player rubberbanding/teleporting in online rooms: Please specify your region, ISP (provider), ping, and whether the packet loss indicator was active.
List of Known Issues:
Loading freeze at 75%: If this occurs, please restart the game and verify the integrity of game files in Steam. If the issue persists, clear your save folder C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\LocalLow\\CarX Technologies\\CarX Drift Racing Online 2, files Player and Player-prev.
Timer softlock in tandem runs and general connectivity issues
Softlock when rapidly switching tabs in the pause menu.
Low-quality rims, invisible suspension parts, incorrect player icon height, and floating objects on the ADM track.
The anti-lag sound can be heard across the entire map.
Not all cars purchased from the Car Market come with optimal settings - be prepared to spend some time in the Dynostand after purchase.
If you have graphic issues, (AMD GPU), try: -force-d3d12 (paste this in launch parameters in properties of game, use this if you have graphical ussies ONLY).
