Added dynamic time of day on Kami Road. You can now adjust the speed of the time cycle from 20 minutes to 1 hour.

Road signs reflective effect is now bound to headlights - this is the first iteration, the light angle is not taken into account yet, but it will be in the future!

Gameplay

  • Added freeride clipping zone chains to online rooms

Controls

  • Added new gearbox setting "Automatic", the previous variant named "Automatic" is now "Semi-automatic", both variants feature reverse gear by holding brake key like in many racing games. Also, "Semi-automatic" gearbox features three variants of reverse gear - more in the in-game hint!

  • Added automatic reverse for the "Automatic" gearbox type. The old reverse scheme has been moved to the new "Semi-Automatic" option.

  • Added smooth transitions when switching between sections in Triple Screen mode

Optimization

  • Increased the render distance for certain objects at the Gunma Cycle Sport Center location

Fixes

  • Fixed excessive smoke brightness under headlight illumination at night

  • Fixed headlights turning off when opening the pause menu

  • Fixed the driver clipping through the roof of the Nishimo SI4 car

  • Fixed incorrect deformation during high-speed crashes, now those crashes are a lot more drastic!

  • Fixed incorrect vehicle behavior during collisions in race replays

Known issues

  • In online rooms duels you might encounter a soft-lock if you let the join timer end without anyone joining, please avoid!

The Alpha-test branch has also been updated.

We also want to remind you about previous updates, which added: new cars, a new engine, in-game chat, the Gunma Cycle Sport Center location, night mode on Kami Road, and the drift show (career mode) in the alpha branch. Details: view
