The CarX Drift Racing Online 2 alpha version has been updated!
Testing of the physics changes in the alpha-test version has concluded.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the testing and shared their feedback. We’re reviewing your feedback and continuing to improve the physics model. Once the next version is ready, we will make it available for public testing again.
A new technical update is now available in the alpha-test version.
What’s changed: • DirectX 12 and NVIDIA DLSS support have been restored. • The game engine has received a minor update. • Stability when using DirectX 12 has been improved.
We are particularly interested in your feedback on: • game stability and performance when using DirectX 12; • DLSS functionality across different quality modes; • game stability when minimizing the game, switching between windows, or unfocusing the window; • render quality when changing the resolution or display mode.
How to launch the game using DirectX 12: When you launch the game in Steam, a dialog box will appear where you can select the desired launch option. To test the update, select the option to launch the game using DirectX 12.
Please note: from this version going forward, your progress in the default and alpha versions will be separate. You will always be able to import your default version save into alpha.
How to participate: 1. Open your Steam Library. 2. Right-click on CarX Drift Racing Online 2. 3. Select "Properties". 4. Go to the "Betas" tab. 5. In the dropdown list, select the version: alpha-test
