Challenge Mode

Have you beaten the Campaign? Think you’re hot stuff? Prove yourself with the 6 new Challenges, each twisting the rules and spicing up the gameplay in different ways. Some examples include The Long Road (which turns all Death Races into Elite Races), Infected! (heavier, deadlier, and more numerous Wasted), Expiry Date (free Restocks and cheaper items, but Perks expire after a few Events!), and Expert Handling (more realistic simulation of surface friction). Can you clear them all?

  • Removed “Easy Mode” from game options. Easy Mode is now a Challenge Mode you must select when starting a new game.

[EXPERIMENTAL | PC ONLY] Steering Wheel Support

Steering wheel support has been implemented natively for the Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T598. To access steering wheel support, you will need to switch to our beta branch steering_wheel_controller using the code iwanttofiddle.

Just like with the handling adjustments we previously tested on a beta branch, we’ll also be pinning a feedback thread over on the Steam Forums.

Patch 3?!

That’s right. We’re confirming that there will indeed be a Patch 3. This third patch will expand the available Challenges with one or two new modes that are sure to feel like a blast from the past.

Following the same blast-from-the-past theme, we’re also working on an entirely new Event type that we think will demolish your expectations.

Stay tuned to our socials for teasers and more information!
