🕹️ Mod Usage Guide
🎮 For Steam Players
1️⃣ Subscribe to a Mod via the Steam Workshop 2️⃣ Wait for the game to automatically download and update the Mod 3️⃣ Launch the game → From the main menu, select [Mods] → Check the Mods you want to enable 4️⃣ Enter the game — the selected Mods will load automatically
💾 For Non-Steam Players
1️⃣ Download the Mod file provided by the creator 2️⃣ Place it in the following path: [c][Installation Directory]/CardShopSim/Mods[/c] (If there is no “Mods” folder, you can create one manually)
⚠️ Risk Notice
Mods are created by community players to bring more gameplay variety. Please note that using Mods carries some risks — use them responsibly.
Using Mods may cause game crashes or save file corruption. → It is strongly recommended to back up your saves beforehand: [c]C:\\Users\\ \\AppData\\Local\\CardShopSim\\Saved\\SaveGames[/c]
Some Mods may have compatibility issues. If you experience crashes or freezes, try disabling certain Mods.
For any problems, please contact the Mod creator for support. The official team currently cannot directly fix Mod-related issues.
Be cautious about Mod sources — always prefer downloading from official platforms like the Steam Workshop or large, trusted third-party sites. Avoid suspicious Mod files shared via random links or file-sharing platforms.
Beware of paid Mods — all Mods are community-shared and free. Be cautious of any Mod asking for payment.
Prefer popular Mods — choose Mods with high download counts and active comment sections. If a Mod is obscure and has no interaction, proceed with caution!
📘 Mod Development Guide
1️⃣ Early access to future development builds
2️⃣ Help promote excellent Mods on social media — get your work featured!
🔍 How to Find a Mod Creator Page
Workshop File Path: [c][Steam Installation Directory]\\steamapps\\workshop\\content\\3569500[/c]
Each Mod folder is named with a string of numbers — this is the Mod’s Workshop ID. Copy that number and paste it at the end of the following link to open the Mod creator’s page:

🧩 Mod Installation Notes
1️⃣ Back up your saves before installing Mods to prevent data loss. 2️⃣ Check Mod safety — if a Mod requires extra installation steps or unpacking, scan it with antivirus software first. 3️⃣ Record your Mod paths — note down where you installed each Mod for easy troubleshooting or removal later. 4️⃣ Unsubscribe Mods via Steam:
Go to your Steam Workshop page → Your Files → Subscribed Items
Find the Mod you no longer want → Click Unsubscribe
The Mod will be automatically disabled and deleted 5️⃣ Compatibility Testing:
When enabling multiple Mods, activate them one by one to identify conflicts or non-functional Mods more easily.
🧠 Reporting Problematic Mods
If you encounter malicious or fake Mods (e.g., viruses disguised as Mods) or have any other Mod-related concerns, please report them through official channels. We’ll take action to remove risky content and maintain a safe community.
💡 Community Guidelines for Mod Creators
To maintain a healthy and creative Modding environment, please follow these rules:
No illegal content — including political, pornographic, or violent material.
No offensive or misleading content — do not insult characters, distort plots, or create divisive content.
No copyrighted or unauthorized assets — do not use protected materials from other games or sources.
No external links leading to ads, donations, or paid services unrelated to the game.
Mods using AI-generated content must be clearly labeled.
⚠️ Mods uploaded to the Steam Workshop that violate these rules may be removed without notice, and offending creators may have their publishing privileges revoked.
Would you like me to format this into a Steam announcement–style layout (with emoji headers, bold highlights, and bullet icons for readability)? It would look more engaging and ready for posting.
