I m sure you have a number of questions, so lets get started! Bear in mind that some questions will be answered in the coming weeks (or months in some specific cases), so this is a brief overview!

Story In a nutshell, a master hacker imprisoned in a train, fights to get back at the forces that stole his life’s work, and are now returning to end his life. Jack, our protagonist, with his trusted (?) sidekick Caleb, who is a brain implant, start off just five days before their demise.

You take the role of Jack in this difficult time, to hopefully avert this possible future, by training your mind and body, hacking the prison train and ...deciding a course of action depending on any opportunities you might open up during all this.

Feel/Controls Carbonflesh is a love letter to the dark futuristic movies of the 80s and 90s as well as their iconic training montages.

The sci-fi drenched synths as well as a stellar cast of voice actors and cut-scenes cement the already thick 80’s atmosphere of the game.

Simple controls that are mouse only, with a clicker feel to them so you can enjoy your coffee or whiskey on one hand and execute your strategy at the same time. This is a game about decisions, not reflexes.

Gameplay

The game-play is a mix between a simslike- where you have to manage your character’s needs, along a time management game in which you have limited time to allocate between a lot of activities, such as hacking, researching and climbing the ranks of a cut-throat bookshop business (at least for this demo).

In-game time moves faster each time you start an activity and you can stop whenever you want, as you have full control over each minute of Jack’s actions.

That's the quick rundown! Thank you for reading through, and stick around for a more in depth look into mechanics, systems and playstyles in the future!

Cheers! - George "Zok" Zokas Game Designer
