This system is evolving with room variations, dynamic hazards and eventually - entirely new environmental themes.

Hey Captains,

Development is moving forward on multiple fronts, with a major focus on expanding both the story campaign and the sandbox experience. Here's a look at what I'm currently working on.

🚀 Gameplay Updates & Campaign:

Upgrading Procedural Level Generation: The Broken Core introduced the foundation of Captain Hardcore's procedural environment system, but that was only the beginning. This system is evolving with room variations, dynamic hazards and eventually - entirely new environmental themes.

Mission 2 Writing & Blocking Out: Work has begun on blocking out gameplay and narrative sequences. This next mission will introduce new enemies, new weapons, and continue the search for the mysterious Ultimate Pleasure Device.

To match the step up in procedural level creation, I'm prototyping an entirely new roster of enemies. Note: Because we are still early in the design and prototyping phase, all of these concepts are subject to change based on playtesting.

Here is a sneak peek at a few of the ideas currently on the workbench:

Suckbot: Ranged Sniper / Disruptor - She keeps her distance, firing lethal projectiles directly from her metal titties, instantly teleporting to a new location if you get too close.

The Siren: A floating, female torso. Her face splits open to lock a tractor beam onto the player, powered by purple cosmic energy. This beam reduces the player's movement speed to a crawl while gradually siphoning their HP.

Pyro Bot: Spider mech with rotating turret flamethrower. Slowly advances toward the player. Stops to sweep its flamethrower in an arc, leaving behind temporary fire zones.

Faptasms: A floating biomechanical orb with a sphincter for a face and whipping neon green tentacles. It can shoot slow-moving but powerful orbs of cosmic energy that cause chain reaction cosmic disturbances within 50m of impact.

Whip-Tendril: A stationary, tentacle growth congealed from cosmic nova energy.

JankBot Assault Unit: The T-3001 "Dummy Driver" is a bizarre, low-tech assault unit featuring an inflatable sex doll strapped into a rugged assault unit. Frozen in a perpetual scream with red lips, it advances directly toward the player while unleashing a continuous stream of minigun fire.

🛠️ Sandbox Updates

Tons of New Spawnable 3D props: We are expanding the sandbox object library with a massive influx of new props and items for you to manipulate and build with.

Expanded Customization & Assets: Working on brand new clothing items, hairstyles, toys and environments.

General Improvements & Bug Fixes: Ongoing optimization, polish, and features to keep the sandbox running smoothly.
