Hello, Capote fans!
Wow, it's already been three months of Capote's early access! We're very grateful for all the feedback, bug reports, praise, and suggestions you've been sharing through Steam reviews and messages on our Discord server! We're always keeping an eye on them all, and here's another patch note with important news:
Optimization
We've heard many reports of computers struggling to run the game, so in these last few weeks we've focused (A LOT) on optimization, which is basically making the game lighter and offering options to help balance the PC's workload as well. This includes:
Character optimization
Environment optimization
VSync option
FPS limit option
Our hypothesis is that this should also eliminate some old bugs, such as characters' faces looking strange, characters leaving the table, cards flying, etc. More than ever, we need your feedback to tell us if this is still happening with the same frequency!
Other Adjustments
The bar (finally) returned to normal after Christmas. We liked the decorations so much that we decided to leave them up for a little longer.
Minor adjustments to some animations such as mesh adjustments, card positions, popping eye, etc.
