Campus Legends College Basketball changes
Hi all,
I wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up that the price of Campus Legends College Basketball will be increasing from $3.99 to $4.99 with the next content update, v0.1.5, which should be coming up in the next few weeks. I haven’t pinned down an exact date yet, but it will probably be toward the beginning of May.
The game has come a long way since the Early Access launch at the end of January. Some of the highlights include:
Better manual minute allocation and new settings to better control the auto-allocation of minutes.
Big improvements to the national ranking and tournament seeding logic, including more weight on quality wins and better placement logic.
Support for custom leagues of any size between 64 and 368 teams, with flexible conference sizes and structure.
Custom logo support, including in-game options for applying new logo packs at any time.
Redshirt players.
Major quality-of-life improvements to the recruiting system, including new filters, more information, better performance, and smarter AI.
More polished systems overall, including updates to transfer logic, draft declaration, and rotation preferences.
Better scheduling logic, including home/away balancing, realistic bracket layouts for custom leagues.
Many, many bug fixes and balance tweaks, stability has improved considerably from the dark early days.
I've decided to slightly increase the price to better reflect the value of the game in its current state and help support its continued development. That said, I still want CLCB to continue to be as budget-friendly as possible. I plan to stick with the new $4.99 price point for a while and reevaluate only after more substantial content is added.
Looking ahead, the next update will focus on further quality-of-life improvements and deeper league customization options. After that, I’m planning to focus on version 0.2, which will center around scheduling and various highly requested features like conference realignment.
Thank you all again for all of the continued support, it has truly blown away my expectations. Your enthusiasm and feedback is what keeps me motivated to make this game the best that it can be.
