Cafe Business Manager changes
This update focuses on improving the overall demo experience.
We’ve fixed several blocking issues, streamlined the checkout flow, and made usability improvements based on player feedback. Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts!
Added
Added an option to hide objects while in Build Mode.
Added a day/night toggle to Build Mode.
Added a key to toggle snapping on or off during object placement.
Added a global order number to all receipts.
Added a dedicated, sequential order number for takeaway orders.
Order numbers now reset at the end of each day.
Added a confirmation prompt before taking a loan.
Added visible waiting feedback for takeaway customers.
Added item information display for objects held by the player.
Added footstep highlighting while holding a key when using the mop.
Added a first-time hint popup showing where supermarket purchases are delivered.
Added trunk open/close sound effects for vehicles.
Added the Help menu to the main menu.
Allowed trash to be disposed in outdoor trash bins.
Added the ability to place products directly from boxes onto plates.
If an incorrect order is placed on a tray and marked as ready, a warning icon is shown.
Fixed / Improved
Improved build mode visibility by hiding objects from other floors.
Adjusted sound behavior so unnecessary audio stops while the ESC menu is open.
Fixed an issue where receipts could remain stuck if an order was placed as a customer was leaving.
Cancelled receipts waiting at the cashier now clearly show their cancelled state.
Improved takeaway order numbering to prevent skipping when other orders are created.
Improved the checkout flow by automatically stepping back from certain interactions, reducing the need to press ESC, and allowing players to leave the cashier naturally when not focused on the screen.
Updated the cashier screen layout.
Fixed an issue where early loan repayments could still trigger daily charges.
Employee satisfaction now updates instantly when wages or working hours are changed.
Employees now arrive earlier to avoid delays caused by spawn distance.
Improved customer order variety by reducing repeated identical orders.
Fixed item placement on stacked trays so items are placed on the top tray.
Fixed an issue where items could be placed on multiple stacked plates incorrectly.
Fixed item consumption visuals when customers eat and drink multiple items.
Prevented opening certain menus while holding an object.
Improved the takeaway tutorial by splitting order taking and order creation into clearer steps.
Fixed character lighting issues causing unnatural glow at night.
Fixed sign text editing issues.
Improved item preview lighting and positioning in the shop menu.
Fixed time input issues when setting work hours around midnight.
Improved box behavior so lids close before being placed on shelves.
Increased time flow speed while sleeping.
Build Mode is now unlocked at level 5.
Product prices in Build Mode have been reduced.
