changedUpdates 1.2.13 through 1.2.18Several updates rolled out over the past week. Here's a summary of what changed since 1.2.12:
fixedCrash fixesFixed crashes that could happen during longer play sessions. Three different parts of the interface (the Sales & Expenses summary, the Goal progress bar, and the recipe rating in customer feedback) were redrawing themselves much more often than needed, which would eventually crash the game. They now refresh only when their values actually change.
fixedCrash fixesFixed crashes caused by AI competitors when their business hadn't fully started up. The game now safely skips the action on a missing stand instead of crashing.
fixedMac fixesOn Mac, the game now correctly picks a sensible default window size on first launch.
changedMac fixesOn Mac, the first-launch settings page no longer accidentally changes your window size. Tooltips and other on-screen elements should now stay where they belong.
changedMac fixesApple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, and M3) can now connect to Steam reliably. Previously, the game would sometimes show "Steam Not Connected" even when launched from Steam. Intel Macs were not affected.
