addedAfter v1.2.6 we were focusing on the next big thing for Business Heroes: the HR / hiring system . We were deep into building it out when we had to relocate because of the geopolitical situation. Between everything that came with that, we never got the chance to test the new system the way we would want to before shipping it, and as the weeks turned into months, the gap between we will push an update soon and what was actually live just kept growing.
addedThings have settled a little for us now, and we've finally been able t0 catch up, finish testing, and ship the patch we had been holding onto for far too long. To everyone who has been checking in for a new build over the past few months, thank you for sticking with us, and we are truly sorry it took this long. The HR system is still being polished and isn't ready for this release, but it remains the next major feature on the roadmap.
addedImprovementsWe added defensive guards throughout the customer movement system, so edge-case crashes when customers transition between stands and queues should now be a thing of the past.
changedImprovementsWe extended the accounting flow so AI competitors now run their own daily accounting sequence so your simulated economy is a little more accurate as a result.

This 1.2.10 update bundles every fix and improvement we have made since January into a single release for both Windows and Mac.

Improvements

  • We added defensive guards throughout the customer movement system, so edge-case crashes when customers transition between stands and queues should now be a thing of the past.

  • We now persist your daily reports to local storage, so your sales history survives saving and reloading a game.

  • We extended the accounting flow so AI competitors now run their own daily accounting sequence so your simulated economy is a little more accurate as a result.

  • We refreshed several German localization strings.

Fixes

  • We fixed a common condition where the perfect-recipe image would sometimes fail to show because a result event arrived before the UI was ready.

  • We fixed the Space and Enter shortcuts not advancing the goal story in career mode.

  • We fixed an error in the Tooltip that could occur on certain pointer-enter events which would break the tooltips.

  • We fixed an error during layout rebuilds that affected various UI screens.

  • We fixed the Hard challenge leaderboard so scores now correctly use the _Hard suffix and are properly separated from the standard leaderboard.

  • We clarified the buying-probability display and rewrote the Market Points tooltip so customer behavior is easier to read at a glance.

  • We fixed the issue with loan balances initializing as the full loan amount instead of the amount minus the processing fee, your starting balance after taking a loan is now correct.

  • We fixed uncompleted goals incorrectly loading with a "success" state when restoring a saved game.

  • We fixed AI competitors being able to buy or move their stand onto reserved stand spots when AI was spawning in career mode.

  • We fixed a string-caching issue on initialization that could break async calls running outside the main thread.
