We have a fresh video for you today, this time looking at the main features of Bus🚍Bound and how they work. While the game, at its core, is a driving-focused experience, there are plenty of ways to make your public transit dreams flourish.
Four Player Co-op
Work together with up to three other people to improve the city around you. Everyone contributes to the host’s missions and goals to keep the spirit of collaboration alive.
Dynamic Weather & Time of Day
Whether it is rain or shine, you have riders to service. The weather and day/night cycle work in tandem with the seven districts, passenger needs, and traffic flow.
Realistic Traffic System
The traffic in Bus Bound is modelled on real life. It is responsive to weather and time of day, as well as to random events such as someone driving erratically in front of you. Each of these elements will influence your passengers’ moods, which, in turn, can affect your route score.
Expanding the Network
There are seven districts that can each be unlocked and upgraded.
Ashtree, the educational district
The Strings, the music district
Wright’s Crossing, the tourist district
New Heights, the business district
Belvedere, the cultural district
The Tracks, the transit district
Windfall Oaks, the suburban district
Each location will improve for the local citizens as you service the districts. Upgrade stops, unlock new routes, earn passive perks, and see each district evolve into a more vibrant, pedestrian-friendly space.
Customize the Fleet & Lines
With each shift, you will generate goodwill with your riders to unlock new buses, visual styles, and upgrades. Beyond that, you can create your own routes with the line editor. Whether you prefer a relaxing driving experience or want to master and optimize every detail of your run, the freedom to make each trip your own is yours.
17 Unique Models
There will be 17 buses available at launch, including 10 licensed like the New Flyer Xcelsior 40ft CNG and the Blue Bird Sigma.
