GENTLEMEN.

Two years. We still don't understand what happened.

Some of you waited. Some of you forgot. Some of you found the game in your library and went "oh right, burger."

Some of you sent us an email. Some of you sent four. Sorry. Someone sent us a three-page essay on Burger lore theory. We don't know if Burger has lore. Apparently now it might.

Someone drew fanart. Why. We don't know. Thank you.

Someone got every achievement in one evening and sent a screenshot. We checked Steamworks - they are not the only one. We don't know who these people are.

In the forums you argued about lettuce: below the patty or above. Two years. It got heated. Some threads we were afraid to open.

Someone built their own auto-clicker. We saw.

Someone asked: "are they alive?"

We are alive. We were thinking. Details are lost to time.

We sat down. We thought. We added another burger. There are now two.

One has lettuce ABOVE the patty. The other BELOW. Two years of debate. Settled. You can stop now.

WHAT'S NEW

  • 2 burgers. TWO. We don't know why this works. It works.

  • Auto-clickers are in the game now. Officially. We don't know what this means for the clicker genre. Possibly nothing. But there they are.

  • Hover to cook. You don't have to click anymore. We tried clicking on the hover. Nothing new happened. We don't know what we expected.

  • 3 new achievements. So you have a reason to open the game. Any reason.

Thousands of you are STILL HERE. EVERY MONTH. TWO YEARS. We don't understand. But we respect you.

And while we were thinking about the second burger, we accidentally started thinking about something else. What IS the difference between a burger and a sandwich? Bread, filling, bread. Both. We spent three weeks on this. My wife asked me to stop.

We did not find an answer. But we made a whole game about it.

Sandwich +1 - a cozy clicker where you stack random ingredients into absurd towers. Customers are cups of coffee with eyes. Why. We don't know. A bit more serious than Burger. Still absurd. Free demo:

Two years. Two burgers. One sandwich game. We hope you figure it out before we do.

(please wishlist it)
